Before turning to fiction and film full time, Gregg spent over 30 years in journalism — winning more than 40 journalism awards and serving as President of the Michigan Press Association. He was Publisher of a Thomson-Reuters daily newspaper for 15 years and later became Group Publisher for five dailies with Ogden Newspapers.

Robert B. Gregg honored with 20 International Screenwriting Awards, including the Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Portland, Austin, and Louisville International Film Festivals. 

Beyond the Page: The Ski Journal

Robert and his wife, Nancy, co-founded The Ski Journal, which grew to become the largest cross-country ski magazine in the world and the official publication of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

Where He Writes Today

Gregg splits his time between Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (summer/fall) and Florida (winter/spring), continuing to write stories that captivate readers with depth, tension, and heart.
